REGISTERED MINISTRY

Wee Creations is a registered child care ministry with the state of Indiana. “Child care ministry”, for purposes of IC 12-17.2, means child care operated by a church or religious ministry that is a religious organization exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code. As a registered ministry, we are required to comply with the state rules concerning sanitation and fire safety.
 

VOLUNTARY ACCREDITATION & CERTIFICATIONS

 
May 2007: Accreditation by the National Lutheran Schools Association
Wee Creations Preschool is accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation program. This means we have worked hard to achieve the highest level of quality education possible, setting goals for student education and teacher qualifications.
 
April 2010: WCM met all CCDF provider eligibility standards
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program provides daycare financial assistance for families who are working or enrolled in school. To apply for the CCDF voucher program, please contact the Steuben County CANI office.
 
June 2011: WCM earned VCP Certification
The Voluntary Certification Program (VCP) is offered to all Indiana registered child cares that want to ensure that they are exceeding the basic health and safety needs of the children they serve.
 
February 2012: Paths to Quality, Level 2 Provider
We are pleased and excited to announce that WCM has achieved a Level 2 Paths to QUALITY™ rating. Paths to QUALITY is Indiana’s voluntary quality rating and improvement system. We have been working to make quality improvements within our program and are proud of our achievements. This rating means we have successfully met Indiana’s requirements for creating an environment that supports children’s learning. In order to reach Level 2 we have demonstrated the commitment to improve program quality by: creating an environment that promotes learning; participating in ongoing training and professional development of our staff; consistent daily schedules and planned activities, including reading and literacy; increasing communication with families, including an annual family conference. You can be confident that as a Paths to QUALITY Level 2 program, we will be meeting the State’s standards for health and safety.
 
November 2015: Paths to Quality, Level 3 Provider
